Of Interest: The Digital Microfilm Scanner unit that was installed with the Christchurch City Library was caught up in the earthquake in FEBRUARY 2011. When the IT people eventually entered the building & retrieved the PC’s & the Digital Microfilm Scanner , all of the PC’s & other equipment were sent to the Scrap Heap. The Scanner was connected to a new PC & the Software installed & BINGO the Digital Microfilm Scanner began operating immediately without a Hick-Up.
