Advice on how to operate the new computer keyboard control of the motorised / 35 mm motorised carrier.

• A. The left and right Arrows Keys located between the Numbers Keypad and the Letters Keypad are used as the microfilm movement Direction Keys.
• B. By pressing the up or alternatively the down Arrow Keys while at the same time holding down a left or right Direction Arrow Key, the operator can control the slow speed forward or alternatively backward movement of the microfilm loaded in the roll microfilm carrier.
• C. The up Arrow Key increases the variable speed of the roll microfilm carrier while down Arrow Key decreases the variable speed of the roll microfilm carrier.
• D. Holding down the Control = Ctrl Key while at the same time holding down one of the Direction Keys e.g. up and or down Arrows Keys allows the operator to select either the fast forward or fast reverse speed of the microfilm loaded in the roll microfilm carrier.
• E. If the roll microfilm carrier is pulled out [all the way - and the top glass flap is fully open] by pressing the left Arrow Key while at the same time holding down the Home Key invokes the fast rewind of the microfilm loaded in the roll microfilm carrier.

NOTE: Some operators may prefer to use the keyboard function controls over the use of the on screen controls via the mouse function.
