To fulfil this increasing demand Digital Microfilm Equipment - DME is setting aside increasing numbers of the increasingly popular ScanPro1000 / ScanPro 1000 Microfilm Scanner with one CLICK MicroFilm Advance - Universal format Digital Microform / Microfiche / Aperture Card / 16 - 35 mm Roll Microfilm & Micro Opaque / Micro Print - Reader / Viewer / Scanner / Printer - to - PC Digital for Library - Public, Special Purpose, University & Reference, Archive, Heritage, Records Management, Information Management, Preservation, Conservation, Public History, Local Studies, Heritage, Local History & Family History, Local Government, Museum plus Genealogy & Engineering Drawing applications. An example might be where an organisation has an immediate need to replace old equipment that has passed its used by date and come to an untimely & premature end to its operating life or they have an unscheduled requirement for micrographic equipment that has not been budgeted in the current financial cycle. Digital Microfilm Equipment -DME may be able to assist with a Rental / Purchase option to fund the installation of the appropriate micrographic or book scanning equipment for an initial e.g. up to six (6) month’s rental arrangement which can be converted to a purchase arrangement at the end of the rental period or at anytime during that period.
Holdings of micrographic equipment available for rental may vary from time to time but on request DME will attempt to provide the appropriate equipment to meet a particular client needs.
